I’ve been thinking of living on a boat and sailing around the world alone for 9 years now. I did buy a houseboat once and was just getting it ready to live on full time when my youngest daughter came back home to live with me so that didn’t work out but now that they are all older and living their own lives I can really focus on my dream.
I found a good starter boat on Craigslist a few days ago but the price tag is certianly out of my expendable funds reach at the moment, so several people suggested that I monetize my Twitterhood somehow. I have thought this through, I have taken sailing lessons and I am ready to do this. I am a single woman with a simple lifestyle and a zest for life and adventure. I have been a mom since I was 16, my kids are spectacular and they are 20,22 and 24 now and I couldn’t be prouder of them. I am an Internet content manager for a boatload of websites which can be done anywhere in the world that I have Internet Access and I am waiting for my state exam to get my Real Estate License which will help me along the way financially.
