I would love for my Facebook account to link to my Twitter account - but keeping my facebook posts to only 140 characters is difficult. I don't want it to go the other way.  I don't want 92 twitter posts showing up on my Facebook wall.

It would be nice if Twitter would automatically see the updates that are compatible with their limits.

I am searching for an app that will do that.  During that search I found this blog - bashbosh that has some great information.

Why to Use This on my Blog?

There’re so many reasons why you should connect Facebook or Twitter with your blog to allow your visitors to login and post the comments with their own accounts. If they’re logged in the Facebook, they’ll be automatically logged in your blog throughFacebook Connect too.

  • Simplicity – Allow your visitors to easily login to your blog and post a comments using their ownFacebook or Twitter accounts in a seconds.
  • Pro Effect – This leaves the “professional” impression to your blog. Automatically forcing your visitors to like and thrust your blog more and more.
  • More Comments – Adding the Facebook connect or Twitter signup opportunity to your blog comments, you can instantly improve your potential commenter count.

I installed this app and I will update you on it's effectiveness.
